I love matching blush to my eyeshadow, so in my opinion the more colors the merrier. I bought Risky Raisin and Persistent Persimmon because they were tones that I don’t have anywhere in my 10+ blush collection. At first they were a little tricky because I wasn’t used to the undertones and it was difficult to feel like it matched my looks. Using my usual blush application technique with a denser, round brush, I also felt that they didn’t always apply evenly. I have fair/light skin, and both shades can get very dark very quickly. (A perk in my opinion if you do have darker skin!) With a soft application of small layers at a time, and a fluffier brush, however, I’ve come to love how special these colors are. On me, they act almost like a blonzer, but I can partner them with lighter blushes to soften the look into a more easy-going blush flush. For me, the learning curve will remove one star, because I prefer when a blush is hassle-free from the jump. But I cannot deny that I love the soft sheen, the blend-ability, and the way both colors play nicely with other colors in my collection. A fun addition to my collection and ultimately no purchasing regrets!
